What is the Irish American Heritage Center Queen of Hearts?

The Queen of Hearts Raffle is an online progressive raffle in which half of the net proceeds benefit IAHC, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and the programs IAHC supports. The mission of the Irish American Heritage Center is to nurture and strengthen Irish culture and heritage through programs emphasizing Irish music, literature, drama, education, traditional dance, fine arts and the constructive contributions of the Irish and Irish-Americans to the United States of America. The Irish American Heritage Center supports this mission by maintaining its resources, including the Museum, Library, Art Gallery and other programs and partnerships, while providing a gathering place for the Irish-American community and those interested in Irish culture.

How Do You Play?

It's Easy!

Select the card where you believe the Queen of Hearts is hiding. Cards are numbered at random 1-52. Cards that have already been revealed are turned over.
Purchase the number of tickets you would like.
Please carefully review your order before completing the transaction to ensure everything is correct.
If you have the winning ticket number and your card is chosen, but it is not the Queen of Hearts card, you win the weekly prize.
If you have the winning ticket number, and the Queen of Hearts is revealed, you win the progressive jackpot and the weekly prize!
The jackpot keeps growing each week until the Queen of Hearts is found.

Who is eligible to play the Queen of Hearts raffle?

The online raffle is open to Illinois residents ONLY and must be 18 or older to play. Please allow your browser to share your location if/when prompted to confirm your eligibility to play.

Are my tickets valid for every weekly draw?

No. Purchased tickets are good for one week only and do not carry over. A new ticket must be purchased to be eligible for the current week's draw and a chance to win half of the jackpot.

How long do I have to purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets all week until Thursdays at 11:59PM. If the Queen of Hearts card was not chosen, the new weekly drawing begins Fridays at 10:30AM.

When will I receive my ticket numbers?

There may be a delay in the e-mail delivery during times of high website traffic. Any e-mail delays do not impact your chances of entering the raffle. Please check your Spam folder, and Promotions folder for Gmail users, if you do not see the email in your main Inbox. Please email us QOH@irishahc.org if you cannot find your tickets.

When is the winner drawn?

Winner will be announced every Friday at 9:30AM on our social media platforms and at iahcQOH.com

What if I have the winning ticket?

To claim your prize email QOH@irishahc.org with your PDF ticket containing the winning number. It is the winner's responsibility to contact IAHC before the deadline to claim.

How long do I have to claim the winning ticket number?

You have sixty (60) days from the weekly drawing to claim your prize.

How is the prize split?

Weekly ticket sales are split into three portions:

10% for the Weekly Prize jackpot
40% for the Progressive Chase the Ace Jackpot
50% to the IAHC

What kind of deck is used?

A standard 52 card deck is used, without Jokers.

Do overturned cards stay overturned?

Yes, each week the weekly winner's card is revealed. As more cards are overturned the odds of finding the Queen of Hearts and winning half of the jackpot increase.

Can I play more than once in a week?

Yes! You can purchase tickets as many times as you want.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Mastercard, Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit. We do not accept cash, checks, money order or PayPal at this time.
